On Monday 7 October, Dr Cornelia de Kock from Stellenbosch gave  highly informative  and interesting presentation to the Overberg U3A History Group on the life and work of Dr Con de Villiers (1894-1978), music lover, internationally famous scientist in the field of zoology, and arguably the most important writer on regional culture in Afrikaans.
